Design H&S and onshore construction of the hydro plant and switch rooms, directional drilling, drilling, transportation and installation of sub sea piles,  design and fabrication, pre-commissioning, transportation, installation of the Wave Energy Converter at EMEC in Orkney, Commissioning and initial operation of the device.

Final assembly of three wave energy converter devices in Peniche Portugal, quayside operations and pre-commissioning in Porto harbour, moorings deployment and recovery, installation and operation at Agucadora Portugal (Pelamis P1a). Design H&S and fabrication of the wave energy converter device at Edinburgh fabrication facility and launch at Forth Ports (Pelamis P2).

Hydrosafe provided HSE management support to Principal Contractor (Drace) for the construction of met masts used by Repsol / EDP at the Inch Cape and Moray Offshore wind farms.

Concrete caissons transported from Spain were floated off and mated to the steel columns and deck sections at Invergordon Port. The mast sections were added and all works done whilst caissons were afloat at quayside. Works included confined space entry in caissons, work at height on mast sections, heavy lifts and fabrication plus eventual tow out to site and submerging in situ.

Hydrosafe prepared a Health and Safety Management system for the NTS managed Fair Isle Aerodrome. Liaising with emergency services, island staff, management and CAA.

We have also prepared the Harbour Management System for the Island of Canna; helping the NTS to meet the requirements of the Port Marine Safety Code.

Still under construction in the river Forth. Marine Health and Safety advisor for the sub sea excavation and installation of caissons and cofferdams used to construct the foundations for the bridge supports and towers.
